Remain In The Vine

It may be impossible to fully appreciate the value of the right relationships in our lives.  Having the right relationships can propel you in the right direction while the wrong relationships can take you down the wrong path.  It is difficult to do all God wants you to do without surrounding yourself with the right people.   People who will encourage you to do good works and to love one another as Christ loved us.

One way to develop the right biblical relationships is by remaining faithful in our service to God’s people and His church.  By remaining faithful we can enjoy one of the greatest blessings we have – the relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  When we remain connected to Him we will bear spiritual fruit.  It’s amazing, the more we become connected the more His will becomes our will.  The more we want what He wants.  Our heart becomes His heart and our faith grows.

John 15:4-5

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.  5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

We have no idea what we are capable of doing when we are not connected to the vine.  It is so important to remain in Christian fellowship by assembling ourselves together.  There is something powerful about the agreement of Christians who come together in biblical community.  When the Church was assembled to hear Peter and John’s experience with the Sanhedrin they lifted up their voice with one accord in prayer and the Earth literally shook – that’s POWERFUL!

Let us be faithful in our service to God and be fully committed to Him.  This is our reasonable service.  Our Father said He will reward those who diligently seek Him.  In fact, He has challenged us to prove Him concerning this promise.

Malachi 3:10

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Our Lord and Savior gave His very life so that we can live.  Let us therefore present ourselves a living sacrifice to God and walk so close to Him that when He speaks we know His voice.  Let’s be so committed to the Lord and His service that we don’t just say I go to church but instead say we ARE the church.

I believe with all of my heart that in every single one of God’s children there is more greatness, more potential more possibilities than we can ever imagine.  Whether it is a future marriage, new ministry or business.  There are NO limits with the Lord.  Let’s go all in by devoting our lives completely to Christ – He will reward you.
